Social Content Intern – Remote with In-Person Meetings 📍
We are currently seeking a Social Content Intern to join our team remotely with occasional in-person meetings in Edmond, OK or via video call with our Founder/CEO once or twice a week.
Flexible Schedule + College Credit 🎓
This is a 3-month, unpaid, part-time position designed for college credit and providing real-world experience for the Summer of 2025. The role offers flexibility to work around your schedule and remotely, but we do require at least 1-2 in-person meetings per week with our CEO for a minimum of 3 hours.

We’re happy to coordinate with your school to ensure you receive credit for your degree requirements.
Who Should Apply? 🚀
Current students or those with a background in public relations, communications, journalism, or social media management are encouraged to apply, but these are not requirements.
Job Duties:
- Create and distribute content for social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok etc).
- Work directly with project manager, graphic designer, videographer and clients on identifying new areas of newsworthy content.
- Engage in online chats to increase engagement and followers.
- Create content calendars, schedule social media posts in advance.
- Create media lists/industry directories.
- Identify podcast and event speaking opportunities for Owner/CEO.
- Work with graphic designer to concept any required media for social media posts.
Skills Required:
- Strong skills in writing and communication
- Strong social networker and knowledge of social media networks
- Able to grasp the bigger picture of purpose of social media
- WordPress and/or web experience is a plus!
Expected to learn:
- Learn real world experience of public relations process
- How to use social media automation tools and data aggregators
- Learn how to pitch stories to local media
- Learn how to create content calendars
- Learn how to get published in various
- Learn real world experience of how design/collaboration works between agency and client
- Learn how to write copy better/editing skills
- Editing and proofing skills
- Potential to learn to work in WordPress platform
